Illumia has appointed cybersecurity executive Sean Bruton as Chief Information Security Officer to oversee the company’s security and compliance strategy.
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Sept. 3, 2026, (VSNewsNetwork.com) — Technology company Illumia has appointed Sean Bruton as Chief Information Security Officer.
Bruton will lead the company’s information security strategy and oversee security and compliance programs across its technology, product, legal, compliance, IT and cloud operations teams. He will report to Taran Lent, Chief Technology Officer of Illumia.

Bruton brings more than 25 years of experience in cybersecurity and compliance. Before joining Illumia, he served as Chief Technology Officer at managed security services provider Zyston, where he worked on incorporating artificial intelligence into the company’s security operations.
He also co-founded Complyify, a compliance automation platform supporting PCI, NIST, HIPAA, HITRUST and SOC 2 programs. Complyify was later acquired by Zyston. Earlier in his career, Bruton worked on managed security and compliance services at NeoSpire and Hosting.com.
