MedTech Innovator Appoints Former FDA Official Dr. Jeffrey Shuren as Advisor

LOS ANGELES, June 18, 2026, (VSNewsNetwork.com) — Medical technology accelerator MedTech Innovator, has announced the appointment of Dr. Jeffrey Shuren as an advisor.

Shuren will provide strategic guidance on regulatory strategy, policy developments, and global market access for the organization, its accelerator programs, and portfolio companies.

Shuren previously served as Director of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH). During his tenure, he oversaw initiatives including the Breakthrough Devices Program, the Patient Engagement Program, the Digital Health Center for Excellence, the Total Product Life Cycle Advisory Program (TAP), and Home as a Healthcare Hub.

Shuren brings more than two decades of leadership experience from the FDA and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
