Fathom Entertainment has appointed Jason Brenek as chief executive officer following the retirement of Ray Nutt.
DENVER, July 8, 2026 (VSNewsNetwork.com) – Fathom Entertainment has appointed Jason Brenek as its new chief executive officer, succeeding Ray Nutt following his previously announced retirement.
Brenek joins the company with more than two decades of experience in theatrical distribution, cinema technology and entertainment. Most recently, he served as founder and chief executive officer of MetaMedia. His previous leadership roles also include executive positions at IMAX Corporation and The Walt Disney Company.

Brenek will lead Fathom Entertainment as it continues expanding its specialty theatrical distribution business and broadens its programming. The company's expansion also includes the upcoming nationwide theatrical release of LAIKA's stop-motion feature film Wildwood, scheduled to debut in theaters on Oct. 23.
