Boise Cascade Names Jeff Strom as Next Chief Executive Officer

BOISE, Idaho, March 14, 2025 (VSNewsNetwork.com) — Building materials company Boise Cascade Company, a producer of engineered wood products and distributor of building materials, has announced that Chief Executive Officer Nate Jorgensen will retire on March 2, 2026. The board of directors has appointed Chief Operating Officer Jeff Strom to succeed him as CEO on March 3, 2026. Jorgensen will continue serving on the company’s board following his retirement.

According to Tom Carlile, chair of the board, the leadership change reflects the company’s long-term succession planning.

Strom has been in the building materials industry for more than 34 years and has held multiple leadership positions since joining the company in 2006. Boise Cascade stated it does not plan to backfill the chief operating officer role following the transition.
