VeritasChain and ABLENET Launch Cryptographic Audit Trail for MetaTrader Platforms

Corporate Business News Sponsored by Business Watch Global

TOKYO, December 28, 2025 (VSNewsNetwork.com) — Standards organization VeritasChain Standards Organization (VSO) and hosting infrastructure provider ABLENET have announced the launch of a joint proof-of-concept that introduces a cryptographically verifiable audit trail for MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 trading platforms.

The initiative is designed to provide tamper-evident verification of trading records within the MetaTrader ecosystem, which is widely used in global retail forex and CFD markets. According to the companies, the proof-of-concept is the first cryptographically verifiable audit trail developed specifically for MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 platforms.

The project addresses a long-standing gap in retail trading infrastructure, where transaction logs are typically stored as editable plain-text files. The new system applies cryptographic methods to trading records, allowing independent verification that logs have not been altered after execution.

“VCP creates mathematical proof where trust once required faith. For 9.6 million MT4/MT5 traders, this is the first time their trading records can be independently verified as untampered,” said Tokachi Kamimura, Founder of the VeritasChain Standards Organization.

VSO’s “world’s first” claim is supported by internal and third-party research, including reviews of patents, regulatory technology providers, and blockchain companies. The findings concluded that while cryptographic audit systems exist in other financial and institutional contexts, none had previously been implemented for the MetaTrader ecosystem.

The proof-of-concept was validated in collaboration with ABLENET, a Japanese VPS provider operated by K&K Corporation. ABLENET has provided hosting infrastructure for MetaTrader environments for more than two decades and received investment backing in 2022 from a consortium that includes Mitsui & Co., Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, and the Development Bank of Japan.

The technical framework, referred to as the VeritasChain Protocol (VCP), uses established cryptographic standards including digital signatures, hash functions, and Merkle tree verification. The protocol is designed to operate alongside existing MetaTrader installations without requiring modifications.

The timing of the launch aligns with emerging regulatory requirements related to auditability, transparency, and automated logging, including provisions under the EU AI Act, MiFID II, and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission recordkeeping rules. Documentation for the protocol has also been submitted to international standards bodies and regulatory authorities in multiple jurisdictions.

Following the proof-of-concept, VSO plans to move toward production deployment in 2026, beginning with ABLENET customers, and to expand availability to additional hosting providers and brokers.
