Muller currently serves as WSPA’s Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President. She has been with the organization since 1999 and will succeed outgoing CEO Catherine Reheis-Boyd, who will remain in an advisory capacity through 2025.

“Jodie Muller has an incredible track record of strategic leadership at WSPA. We are thrilled she is now stepping into the role of President and CEO, leading the organization at a critical time for our industry and consumers in California, Nevada, Arizona, Washington and Oregon. Jodie is a tireless champion for commonsense policies that support the ability of our industry to provide affordable, reliable and essential fuels that power daily life for millions,” said Mike Vomund, WSPA Board Chair and Vice President of Chevron Products, Fuels.

“I am honored to represent the oil and gas industry and particularly the companies and workers who make our way of life possible. Our industry faces a tremendous set of challenges that are unfolding in real time. There is a significant amount of hard work ahead as we advocate for policies that will protect fuel supply and affordability while also advancing new technologies for ever-cleaner energy. I look forward to the road ahead and am committed to fighting for commonsense solutions that truly work for all,” said Muller.

“Jodie Muller is a tremendous leader who has been building trust across the region for years. I am so proud of her and what we have achieved together in recent years and know, moving forward, Jodie will be effective at helping more leaders ‘change their tune’ on how best to deliver low-cost energy solutions and support the best problem solvers our industry has to offer. There is no better person to take WSPA into the future,” said Reheis-Boyd.

Muller previously held public administration roles with the Long Beach City Council, multiple trade associations in Washington, D.C., and served in the White House Communications Office under President George H.W. Bush. She is also Executive Director of the Shared Energy Future Foundation and holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Southern California.

WSPA, founded in 1907, represents energy companies across Arizona, California, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington, covering sectors such as petroleum exploration, refining, transportation, and renewable energy technologies.
