Versa Networks' Security Platform Earns Top Rating in CyberRatings.org SSE Testing

SANTA CLARA, Calif., July 17, 2025 (VSNewsNetwork.com) — Cybersecurity technology company Versa Networks has announced that its Versa Security Service Edge (SSE) platform received a “Recommended” rating from CyberRatings.org following independent testing conducted by NSS Labs. The report shows that Versa achieved 99.98% overall security effectiveness and tied for the highest false positive accuracy among seven vendors tested.
The Q2 2025 comparative test evaluated SSE products from Cisco, Cloudflare, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, Skyhigh Security, Zscaler, and Versa. Versa SSE achieved 100% in exploit protection against CVEs across all risk categories and 100% support for TLS/SSL, malware evasions resistance, and exploit evasions resistance.

The company also referenced earlier test data from Q4 2024, where Versa SSE achieved the fastest HTTPS throughput among vendors, reaching a peak of 3,253 Mbps.
CyberRatings.org’s evaluation included testing against 205 exploits, 6,184 malware samples, and 1,154 evasions across 37 categories. Products were measured using the Security Service Edge Threat Protection Methodology v2.1, which also assessed cipher suite handling for TLS/SSL versions 1.2 and 1.3 and the operational impact of false positives.
