MONTREAL, December 23, 2025 (VSNewsNetwork.com) — Retail technology company Jesta I.S. has announced the launch of FarsightIQ, a dedicated AI division specializing in machine learning and agentic AI tools designed to support retail forecasting, automation, and operational decision-making.

The new division introduces what Jesta describes as an AI-driven commerce platform built to analyze enterprise data, generate demand forecasts, and automate actions across merchandising, supply chain, and financial operations. The launch builds on its five decades of work in retail technology.

“After 55 years of deep retail expertise, the rapid evolution of AI presented the perfect opportunity to evolve our offerings and create a dedicated AI center of excellence. FarsightIQ represents the natural progression of our legacy, blending proven domain knowledge with cutting-edge AI to help our clients navigate the future of retail. One of the most exciting aspects of FarsightIQ is that its AI solutions are trained on each customer’s own enterprise data, flowing through Jesta’s Vision Suite, and are securely hosted in Jesta’s private cloud. In addition, our AI and ML models incorporate external signals—such as market trends, weather, and local events—to deliver truly localized, multidimensional demand forecasts,” said Arvind Gupta, President of Jesta I.S.

FarsightIQ consists of a set of modular AI tools that retailers can use separately or as an integrated intelligence layer across their operations. Among them:

forecastIQ — a demand-forecasting system that uses deep-learning models to generate pre-season and in-season forecasts intended to support buying, allocation, and replenishment planning.

replenishIQ — an automated replenishment tool that uses forecast data to determine in-season stock needs for individual stores and channels.

optimizeIQ — an inventory-optimization module designed to redistribute stock across a retail network to reduce excess inventory and limit markdowns.

advisorIQ (Ask Jane) — a natural-language analytics tool that uses large language models to answer business questions, deliver reports, and provide insights across merchandising, stores, e-commerce, and finance.

styleIQ — a computer-vision system that identifies product attributes such as color, pattern, and silhouette from images in order to support tagging, search, and assortment planning.

matchIQ — an invoice-matching tool that uses AI and optical character recognition to compare invoices, purchase orders, and receipts, flag discrepancies, and automate approvals.

Retailers using the platform can identify stockout risks, initiate inventory transfers, detect invoice discrepancies, and generate product attributes from images. The platform’s design allows it to integrate with any retail merchandising system or ERP through an API-enabled approach.

“FarsightIQ is designed to empower all retail and wholesale brands, regardless of their current technology stack. Our system-agnostic, API-driven approach ensures seamless integration with any existing solutions, delivering advanced AI capabilities that drive efficiency and growth for every client,” said Gupta.

The company reports that early adopters have seen improvements in forecasting accuracy, inventory efficiency, and financial cycle times. Jesta I.S. plans to expand the platform with additional machine learning, generative AI, and automation features.

FarsightIQ is positioned as part of Jesta’s overall portfolio of retail solutions, which includes its existing Vision Suite for merchandising, supply chain, omnichannel order management, and financial operations.
